Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 4, 2025

Crown Narrative (“Crown Narrative,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps business leaders and teams translate their insights into credible media coverage. We offer a variety of media packages that may include (individually or in combination) feature article placement, press‑release drafting, press‑release distribution/syndication, and related editorial, consultation, and reporting services across one or more partner publications and distribution networks. Our offerings evolve over time and may include additional publishers beyond any examples referenced on our site.

If you have questions about this Policy or your information, contact us at email [at] crownnarrative [dot] com. Our mailing address is: A unit of Verdantyx FZC, on Dubai-Sharjah E311, Business Center, SPC FZ, Al Zahia Area – Entrance No. 2 – Ground Floor – Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd – Sharjah, UAE.

1) Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Identity & Contact Data – name, title, company/brand, email address, phone number, billing details, and postal address (if provided).
  • Purchase & Transaction Data – items purchased, order amounts, payment status, refunds, currency, and timestamps.
  • Content & Materials You Provide – facts, quotes, bios, logos, images/video, and other materials for drafting, publication, and distribution.
  • Technical & Usage Data – IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, referring/exit pages, and general diagnostic logs.
  • Marketing & Advertising Data – online identifiers (e.g., cookies, pixels, mobile ad IDs), events (page views, conversions), and audience/interest signals associated with our advertising and analytics tools (for example, Google Ads and Meta’s business tools).
  • Communications Data – emails and other messages exchanged with us (including feedback during drafting/approval).
  • Publicity Assets – any materials you ask us to publish or distribute; these may contain personal information and will be public once published.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., government IDs or health data). Please avoid sending such information. If you include personal data in content for publication, it will be publicly visible after publication/syndication.

2) How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and fulfill services (consultation, writing, editing, approvals, publication, distribution, reporting).
  • Process payments, detect/prevent fraud, and manage orders/fulfillment.
  • Communicate about drafts, approvals, schedules, support, and administrative matters.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our site and services (including analytics).
  • Run marketing/advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness (see “Advertising & analytics”).
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and enforce agreements.

Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., service delivery, security, fraud prevention, marketing to existing customers); consent (where required, such as for non‑essential cookies/ads); and legal obligations.

3) Payments (third‑party processors)

We use one or more independent payment processors (“Payment Processors”) to accept payments. Those providers collect and process your payment information directly (e.g., card details, wallets, bank transfers) on their infrastructure. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. Payment Processors may share back to us limited transaction data (e.g., last 4 digits, card brand, transaction ID, status) to confirm payment and manage orders.

We may change, add, or replace Payment Processors from time to time without updating this Policy each time; the data handling described above remains the same regardless of provider. For security and privacy practices applicable to your payment method, please review your payment provider’s privacy notice and terms at the time of checkout.

4) Publishing & distribution (public disclosure you request)

A core part of many packages is publication and/or distribution. Information you choose to include in a feature article or press release (e.g., your name, role, company, quotes, headshot, links) will become public and may be cached, syndicated, archived, or republished by third‑party sites and platforms beyond our control. We cannot guarantee removal from third‑party websites or search results once content is published or distributed. Our packages may place stories on one or more partner publications and distribute press releases to broad networks (examples on our site include major aggregators and news platforms).

5) Cookies & similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to:
(1) run the site and remember preferences; (2) analyze performance and usage; and (3) support advertising/retargeting and measurement. Where required by law (e.g., in the EEA/UK), we seek consent for non‑essential cookies. You can control cookies through our banner (where offered) and your browser/device settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt‑out of sale/sharing where legally required.

6) Advertising & analytics

We may use platforms and tools (for example, Google Ads and Meta’s business tools) to show ads, build audiences, measure performance, and improve our marketing. These tools may set or read cookies and receive event data from our site (e.g., page views, form completions, purchases), and we may use hashed identifiers (such as emails you provide to us) to create or match audiences, subject to platform rules.

  • Google (Ads/Analytics and related technologies). Google may use data from our site and other sites/apps to help deliver, measure, and personalize ads. Users can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center / Ads Settings. In many jurisdictions, personalized ads require consent. See Google’s disclosures on site/app data use and ad personalization controls.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Business Tools. When we use Meta’s pixel, Conversions API, or Custom Audiences, Meta processes “Business Tool Data” under its terms. Customer list audiences (if used) require appropriate notice and permissions. See Meta’s Business Tools Terms and Customer List Custom Audiences Terms.

Your ad choices: In addition to our cookie banner (where applicable) and platform controls, you can use industry opt‑out tools to limit interest‑based ads from participating companies (browser/device‑specific): DAA WebChoices / YourAdChoices, EDAA YourOnlineChoices (EU/UK), and, where supported, NAI resources. Note that industry tools are evolving; some programs have shifted from legacy cookie‑based mechanisms to newer approaches.

Sensitive/children’s data: We do not use sensitive categories for ad targeting and do not knowingly target children under applicable age thresholds.

Regional compliance:

  • EEA/UK. We obtain consent before setting non‑essential cookies or using data for personalized ads.
  • US (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT). If our use of advertising/analytics constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under state laws, you may opt out via our cookie controls, GPC (where recognized), or by contacting us (see “Your privacy rights”).

7) How we share personal information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers/contractors – e.g., hosting, security, email, file storage, analytics/advertising, payment processing, and customer support—bound by confidentiality and used only to perform services for us.
  • Editorial & distribution partners – to fulfill publication and distribution you request (feature articles, press releases, syndication).
  • Professional advisors – legal, accounting, and auditing.
  • Legal/safety – to comply with law, protect rights, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfers – in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or similar events (your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this Policy).

We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of ads/analytics is deemed a “sale” or “sharing” in certain jurisdictions, you may opt out (see Sections 5–6 and “Your privacy rights”).

8) International data transfers

We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in countries with different data‑protection laws. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections) for cross‑border transfers.

9) Data retention

  • Client files and published materials – retained as needed for our contractual relationship, records, portfolio/history, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Content published or distributed to third‑party platforms may remain available through those platforms indefinitely.
  • Transaction records – retained as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • Website logs/analytics – retained for operational and security purposes for a limited period unless needed longer for investigations or legal reasons.

10) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use unique, strong passwords and keep your devices updated.

11) Your choices

  • Publication scope. Only send information and assets you are comfortable making public. Once published or distributed, third‑party copies are typically outside our control.
  • Marketing communications. You can opt out of non‑transactional emails via unsubscribe links (if available) or by contacting us.
  • Cookies/ads. Use our banner (where offered), browser/device controls, and the industry tools listed above to manage preferences. Some controls are browser/device‑specific and may require repeating your choices.

12) Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request: access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection (including to direct marketing), and withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent). We will honor these rights where applicable by law.

  • California (CPRA) & other US state laws. Residents may have rights to access, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. If you wish to exercise rights or opt out of “sale/sharing,” use our cookie controls, send a GPC signal (recognized where required), or contact us.
  • EEA/UK (GDPR). Our legal bases appear in Section 2. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise rights. Email email [at] crownnarrative [dot] com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe your request. We may ask for information to verify your identity and secure your data. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights.

13) Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16 (or a higher age where required). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us to request deletion.

14) Third‑party sites and services

Our site and materials may link to third‑party websites and services (including publishers, distribution networks, and payment providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we encourage you to review them before providing information or using their services.

15) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. The Effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page or communicated where appropriate.
